Individual Child/ Teen Therapy

What You Can Expect

Therapy with me gives your child or teen a safe, supportive space to be themselves — without judgment or pressure to “fix” anything. It’s a place where they can slow down, explore their feelings, and begin to understand what’s driving their worries, frustrations, or patterns, all while learning to respond to themselves with curiosity and compassion.

For kids and teens who are sensitive, thoughtful, or navigating life between cultures, therapy can become a place to express what doesn’t always have words. Through play, creative exploration, and honest conversation, we make room for feelings, stories, and parts of themselves that have been waiting to be seen.

Over time, our work can help them:

  • Understand and name their emotions more clearly

  • Build confidence in their voice and choices

  • Learn to calm their body when they feel overwhelmed

  • Develop boundaries and communication skills

  • Strengthen relationships with family and friends

  • Feel more grounded and secure in who they are

Therapy isn’t about shaping your child into who they should be — it’s about helping them reconnect with the curious, capable, and creative self that’s already there.
